I was pretty disappointed when this arrived with no instructions at all — just straps, Velcro, and a bit of guesswork. Figuring out how it was supposed to go together, how tight it should be, and how it should actually sit on the body was more complicated than it needed to be. I think I got it assembled correctly and wore it for a short time, but it wasn’t as comfortable as I expected. That said, I honestly don’t know if the discomfort was due to incorrect setup or if the fit just isn’t right for me yet. Without guidance, it’s hard to tell. I do plan to give it another try, especially while doing dishes or light housework, since the whole reason I bought it was to help maintain better posture and reduce fatigue during everyday tasks. I just wish the seller had included even basic instructions or diagrams to help users get started confidently. About12 years ago I was the passenger in a serious car accident. Thankfully everyone made it out ok however, I had a serious case of whiplash. As a result of the whiplash, I have developed very rounded shoulders and a bit of a humped back. This brace is comfortable to wear, and it helps my posture tremendously. It's very easy to put on yourself and it's made really well, with thick straps. I like the many places that you can adjust it, so that it fits the very best. What a great value too! Read more

This posture corrector is definitely effective to prevent me from rounding my shoulders while wearing it -- it's too soon to say if it'll have permanent results. While wearing it, I have less shoulder, neck, and upper back pain as well -- but YMMV. The descriptions says it's comfortable for wearing under your clothing all day, and I can't imagine this being true. It bunches a bit along the sides of my neck when properly adjusted. It's a minor discomfort and won't prevent me from using it, but I wouldn't want it directly against my skin or for more than a few hours at a time. I may become used to this and less bothered over time, though. I'm 5'9" and about 200 lbs and it fits fine, with quite a bit of room for adjustment in both directions. It appears to be well made of quality materials and I believe it will be durable over time. At less than $20 US, I believe it is also a good value. Read more

This is the first time I ordered something to help my husband and I try to correct our posture. He with scoliosis and me who has poor posture and tends to slouch, rather than stand up straight. It is lightweight and adjusts easily with the Velcro straps (indicated by yellow arrows in picture). It fits easily over my clothes with a light sweater over it to hide it. It is a soft and flexible and does not provide much in the way of ridged support. I did feel it tug when I slouched, so it was a nice gentle reminder to stand up straight. It rides high on my back and though it has Velcro (as indicated with the yellow arrows in picture) to adjust for sizing under the arms it does not adjust to position higher or lower on the back. So, it is a one size fits all style. ☹ I wore it for about 10 before having to remove it as it was digging into my underarms. My husband liked it and was able to wear it longer. I do think it is a better design for men than woman just due to having to put it over my bra straps. I attempted to loosen the Velcro to accommodate for that however it defeated the purpose once it was loosened under the arms it wasn’t tight enough to help correct my posture. It did not come with any instructions, and we had to do a little research on how it should be worn and adjusted. At best it is an affordable option to wear as a reminder to keep you from slouching, but as a back brace or posture corrector it is simply too soft and flexible to provide the necessary support.
