As the title says, you get what you pay for! Full disclosure: I did pay full price for this - NO promotions or free product in exchange for a review. Let’s break this down: Pros: 1. Desktop itself seems to be decently built for light work 2. Item came with all parts, plus tools and extra screws 3. It does fit nicely over my walking pad 4. It was boxed up securely 5. All parts were labeled clearly 6. Its height is perfect for me to use comfortably when I’m using my walking pad (I’m 5’6, if that helps). Cons: 1. The big one - the horizontal support bar that goes right under the desktop and between the two vertical support bars is too long. I tried everything I could think of - short of cutting it down and making it unreturnable - to make it fit, and it just doesn’t. See photo for details. 2. Adjusting it to be level is extremely difficult, especially when moving it up high to use while standing or on my walking pad. It took me a long time to get it level, because every time I moved one side, the other side would either also move, or it would bow out and make me worry about bending the pole. 3. When extended high enough to use while standing or on the walking pad, it becomes really wobbly. I’m only 5’6 (maybe 5’8 when on the pad), which is not even its top height. The support bars kind of bowed out with just the desktop installed, and all I put on it was my 12.9” iPad. 4. It was very wobbly when I was using it while walking and using my iPad to play a game. Every time I touched the iPad, the whole table moved. 5. It just doesn’t feel sturdy at all. 6. The only way to adjust it is to use the screw-in knobs, which means you have to push or pull on the desktop to move it up or down. I can see this easily wearing out over time. Ambiguous: 1. It’s very lightweight and easy to move around. This can be good OR bad, I suppose. Easy to move wherever you want it, but I feel like one wrong move and it will bend or break somehow and become useless. 2. It does look good (see attached photo), but the cons outweigh the good looks. 3. It comes with two tools - a Phillips screwdriver and a flat wrench for the wheels - but I highly recommend using your own screwdriver because the included one is just a little too small to get a good grip on the x of the screws and it kept slipping. I was afraid of stripping the screws, so I used a slightly bigger screwdriver and it worked much better. The wrench is useless unless the screws for the wheels are flush against the bar it goes into. I mostly had to use my fingers to screw it in. I wanted a decently priced standing desk to use with my new walking pad, but I didn’t want to spend a lot. This one was a good price and I liked the look of it. Not a whole lot of reviews, but that didn’t bother me too much. I was impressed by how it was packaged, but when I felt how light it is I was concerned about sturdiness, and realized adjusting it by using the screw-in knobs is not ideal. Very hard to make it level. Lesson learned: I want one that uses a pneumatic, one-hand control to raise and lower both sides at the same time to the desired height. As far as the screws go, I do NOT recommend using a power tool to make assembly go faster. The materials aren’t strong enough, and you’d probably end up bending a support bar or over-tightening the screws under the desktop and cracking it. This would probably be okay it kept at its lowest height and used as a sitting desk, but raising it seems to make it more wobbly the higher you go, which obviously isn’t great for a standing desk. Overall, I can’t recommend it for standing or using with a walking pad, so it’s going back. Luckily, Amazon has free returns and I was smart and kept all the packaging so I can send it back in new condition. I’ll be looking for a pneumatic one instead. TL;DR - defective due to a support bar being too long, not sturdy enough to use at any height for standing or use with a walking pad, looks good and is light, but it’s going back because it doesn’t fit my needs. This desk is ok. I found it to be flimsy and almost ripped the screws out trying to lift the top up. It’s a pain to adjust, you need to hold the desk top with one hand, loosen the knob on one side then the other and then put your foot on the base to lift. The metal part is ok, but this thing will not last, I’ll be paying a little extra for a one-handed adjustable desk next time. The measurements are correct and it does fit my walking pad. Read more

The size is not large and will not appear bulky. Rolls easily and height adjustment is easy. Read more
