Very nice quality dress by Adrianna Papell - style just did not suit me. Sized as expected per the sizing chart. Lovely color. It is very long and would be beautiful on a taller person, I just don’t have the height to carry it off with my top heavy figure. Read more
Adrianna Pappel always makes a stunning dress, and this dress IS stunning. I chose the gunmetal colored dress in size 8, and as usual it fits very true to size. I'm 5'4" and 155lbs, and wear a size 8 in regular clothes. I'm wearing a corset and shapewear to hide my tummy, and as form fitting as this dress is, you couldn't tell what I was attempting to hide under it. It is VERY long (I'm in 5" heels) but I never tripped over the length, nor did anyone stand on the train, remarkably! The entire night I received a TON of compliments. I've pictured another dress by Adrianna Pappel (blue) in a side by side of this dress for comparison. Between the two, I'm thrilled I went with this one! As usual with this designer, the beading is quite detailed and sparkly, which makes the dress heavier than most. I happen to LOVE the weight of her dresses and wear it more like armor than something dainty. Highly recommend! Read more
This is a beautiful dress but the sequins rubbed against my arm and were very painful. I only wore the dress to try it on for a couple of minutes, but that was enough time to really do a number on my arm from my elbow to where the sleeve ended. Read more
I wore this as a mother-of-the- bride and got so many compliments. I also machine washed this gown inside-out on delicate and it held up beautifully. The dress is structurally sound, high quality and looks beautiful in any season. It is worth every penny and then some. The back of the dress does dip lower than expected so plan your undergarments ahead of time. Read more
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I just love this dress!! Fit’s very nicely and so pretty! Size: The overall size is right on, a bit long but will have seamstress hem to desired length.
