Within a year and a half the bearings on the power bar failed and belt broke. The service company claimed it was due to hair in bearings. The Carpetriever 28 had been inspected by a retired Service Master franchise owner and in his opinion the hair did not cause bearing failure. It cost over $500 dollars to repair within a year and a half and not covered by warranty. Read more
