These are evidently very hip, and my 13yo daughter loves them. Im not sure that it will be enough to stop the constant attitude from her, but she is happy, so it can't hurt. The quality of the fabric is nice and is a cotton-poly blend. There are tighteners on the bottoms so they don't drag if you're not wearing shoes. The white "underwear" part is sewn in and mimics saggy pants. I really like the wasteband, but my daughter is on the fence about it. However, it's removable, so she can do whatever suits her taste. I love Aelfric Eden! These pants are super cool and very on trend. The layered look with the faux boxer waistband and plaid belt detail gives Y2K hard. The baggy, wide-leg fit is exactly what I was hoping for. They are easy to dress up or down with crop tops or hoodies, just don’t overthink it. The only downside is the faux boxer band. I like the look but, the material is pretty itchy and can be uncomfortable, especially against bare skin. I also feel like the white could’ve been a better matching color. They’re a statement piece and definitely worth it for the aesthetic, just wish the waistband was made with a softer fabric. Aelfric Eden is still the goat. Read more

Omg!!! I am just sooo in LOVE with the AELFRIC EDEN BRAND!!!! They never disappoint-like ever!!!! And these Barrel Layered Sweatpants are no exception…but are ABSOLUTELY EXCEPTIONAL!!! Let me say-I definitely don’t live under a rock…lol!!! And I see a lot of trends come & go, but I have not come across a pair of sweatpants like these!!! Their look is sooo UNIQUE & sooo BOLD & are sooo very FASHION FORWARDED!!! There’s sooo many different levels of Styles & Trends presented in the look of these sweatpants that I just cannot find any fault in any of them!!! These just scream a statement of INDIVIDUALITY-the very reason why I LOVE The Aelfric Eden brand sooo much!!! On top of all their clothing being made w/high standards of quality!!! These sweatpants are so comfy even if they weren’t baggy(although it does add to the comfy-ness..lol!!!) & their fabric is soft & breathable. They keep you warm but are also cooling at the same time because of the breathe ability of the fabric!!! Their sizing was on point according to the sizing chart in the description. I ordered an XL & they fit perfectly!!! Quality nothing as described or shown in picture. The sizing is so off too. It only feels like some cheap parachute pants and doesnt look good. A lot of other things from Aelfric eden was good but this is very dissapointing. Read more

My daughter loves this brand, but isn't in love with these pants. They are oddly puffy at key points. Although she's always asking for extremely baggy pants, these ones just didn't hit right. They were oddly puffy on the thighs, then less puffy on the legs. She's 5'8" and has long legs, so these also hit a little short. The quality is pretty good, although the faux boxers at the top are a little... crinkly? The feel kind of plasticky. The black part is alright, but not a true sweatpant material. It's more of a thicker polyester. The sash thingy did not add anything and was immediately removed. Unfortunately, I don't think she'll wear these pants. Read more

These pants don't disappoint. The sizing is spot on. The material is excellent quantity. They are so cool and unique. I love that they have a pull band on the leg so you can tighten them if you want or need. That's a need in my area since it's always so wet outside. The length on these is perfect and they are so soft and warm. The scarf belt is super cute but can be removed if you want to put on a different one or just leave it. As a huge Aelfric Eden fan, I love their creativity! But this pair of pants wasn’t fully what I’ve come to expect from the brand. They are comfortable, fit true to size, and the baggy silhouette is definitely on-trend. However, the faux boxer layer at the top feels oddly like parachute material, and the pleating on the legs looks a bit unflattering.
