Runs Extremely Small and the Mohair is A LOT….

While I tend to love the Aelfric Eden brand, this sweater is not it, at least for me anyways. This sweater is not oversized, at all. I am a little bigger but when it comes to oversized, I can get an XL or a 2XL if I want to to be a true oversized fit. Aelfric doesn’t make anything in a 2XL but when I seen this oversized sweater, I was happy to get it but upon opening it, I was so wrong to be happy about it. This XL sweater is a Medium, maybe Large if I’m being generous so this runs extremely small. While I was expecting the mohair, it’s A LOT of mohair, so much mohair that it was extremely itchy and not very comfortable. The mohair is on the outside and the inside of the sweater. If that’s what you like, then you will love this sweater. The heaviness and quality of the fabric is well made, less the mohair and being small. Overall, I would not buy this again and I would not recommend this to anyone. If you are a fan of Aelfric Eden, you might like this but please know this is not oversized at all. The mohair is way too much as well. This just isn’t it for me and my preferences. Read more

It’s super soft, very warm, and comfortable, and I’d live in it if I could! ,y only issue is that it’s not really oversized. Very pretty sweater, if you get the sizing right. I don't like oversized. Warm and comfortable. The red heart had to go, so I removed it with a good seam ripper. Why not a matching pink one, if they had to put it on there. But I wouldn't recommend doing that unless you are experienced at seam ripping. Read more
