I usually wear a 28” waist and I bought a size XS, but it feels a bit tight — size S would have been a better fit for a more comfortable look. The material is thick and feels high quality, and the black color is a rich, deep black, not the washed-out kind you sometimes see with cheaper options. The stitching and cut are also very impressive for the price — overall, great style and value. A couple of downsides: the fabric attracts lint and pet hair easily, so if you live with pets, the black color may require frequent lint-rolling. Ordered these in a medium because I wanted them to be super baggy and reviews were mixed on the oversized-ness. They are, indeed, SUPER baggy. (I have since ordered the gray pair in a small.) The waistband is oddly tight for how baggy the rest of the pants are. The fabric of the pockets is also kinda weird (silky and heavy), BUT the weight of the fabric keeps the pockets from bunching up.
