Completely different style than advertised!
Item not as pictured. Its pictured/advertised as an off shoulder top, with the description saying "one shoulder". The actual item received is a boatneck - I say this based on cut, not so much fit. Issue 1: The relaxed seam that should start at the mid-upper arm for a true relaxed off shoulder look (as advertised) actually starts at the top of the shoulder like a fitted top! Because of this, the item will revert naturally to a boatneck fit. Issue 2: The sleeve itself also differs from the picture. Instead of smoothly transitioning from the seam, it balloons out from the top and has a puff sleeve style when worn. Nothing "wrong" with that style, but its a problem when its completely different than advertised! I am usually a petite size S, and purchased a size M for comfort. Size-wise, I can easily pull down both shoulders for an off shoulder look, but because its intended cut is more of a boatneck, the seam and sleeve are incredibly awkward looking. See photo for the proportions and how this item was cut. Super disappointed because I love the unique style and was looking forward to wearing this. Aelfric Eden's quality usually exceeds general expectations based on past purchases. This, however, is a hard pass and a huge NO. Do not recommend. Read more
