I got this sweater in the soft pale blue and it is a lovely color. The yarn is soft and fuzzy and the sweater is so easy to wear. It is definitely an oversized sweater for most people. The sleeves are long and can be pushed up or pull your hands inside them to keep warm or allow them to puddle around the wrists. The crew neck is very classic. The fabric is 40% acrylic and 60% cotton so it is a quality sweater and not a disposable fashion. This fabric allows it to be machine washed in cold and tumble dried on low. So it is easy to care for. Just be certain to take it out of the dryer as soon as it is done so that it doesn't form wrinkles. This is one of those sweaters that I like to wear so that I can stroke it while I am wearing it. the soft fuzzy is very soothing and nice. There were a couple of places where the seam finishing was not perfect and I had to clip a couple of stray pieces of yarn so that they did not snag or run. But other wise, this is well worth the price and is appropriate for adults and teens. Read more

My sweaters are getting a bit aged and some needed to be retired. I spotted this black knit pullover sweater and decided to give it a try. It is quite comfortable--very soft knit and pleasant to touch. It is a nylon & polyester yarn. It is bulky but quite warm. I had expected it to be a fall sweater but I think it may be better as a winter garment. The sweater is washable so that will save on dry-cleaning bills. The knit seems well done and the construction of the sweater looks quite solid. The stiching around the crew neck and cuffs reinforces them. I expect this sweater to last years until the time goes for it to retire as well. It is deliberately oversized so you may need to push up the sleeves a bit depending on how it fits you. I ordered this sweater because I love the simplicity of it and the baby blue, a color that I usually don't wear, is just so pretty. Note that this is a unisex sweater so the size chart should be reviewed carefully. I went down a size to a medium and it fits exactly the way I wanted it to. Given that it is unisex, it is a bit longer in the torso so you can wear it pulled down straight or you can give it a little lift and let it slouch. DISCLAIMER: The first photo is REAL COLOR. The close up photos were taken inside and it makes it look more blue gray than baby blue. IT IS BABY BLUE. We had to go outside to get the color to show up properly. Has a nice weight to it. It is a little hairy. Sleeves are long enough that they bunch up above the wrist but you can pull your hands inside if they get cold. We ordered the XL version for my wife. Sleeves measure 21 inches from the inseam. Waist measures 47 inches at the bottom. Neck to bottom of sweater measures 34 inches. Read more

I've grown to be quite fond of Aelfric Eden and I appreciate the fact that a lot of these sweaters are unisex. This one has a classic cut, with a modern feel. Literally, this sweater is so soft, like the softest minky blanket you want to snuggle up with, with a longer "pile." If anything, it is oversized on me 5ft, 120 lbs, and fits to size on my husband who is 5'10" and 154 lbs. It's 80+ degrees out right now, but the cold will quickly come through and I look forward to being comfy cozy in this. It can easily be dressed up with a cute skirt, down with a pair of leggings and hefty combat boots and more. I love it! Read more
