This soap dish works exactly as intended. We installed it in our shower to provide an additional ledge for our shampoo and conditioner bars. Over months of use it has not developed any discoloration or signs of water damage. It is attractive in-person as well as surprisingly sturdy/solid. It attaches to the wall with a suction cup which you tighten using the attached knob (twisting clockwise) and the wall side of the suction cup also has a sticky adhesive. We had to move the suction cup initially and were able to remove it from the wall without leaving residue. My only complaint, albeit a small one, is that it retains a decent amount of water on top of it due to surface tension rather than draining completely between the slits. This is really not a big deal and as mentioned, hasn’t caused any damage to the soap dish. Read more

I got this for my boyfriend when he showers at my apartment so he has a spot for his bar soap. We were surprised that they were metal and not plastic (I got the white one for myself). It seems to be holding up well and are easy to clean. I highly recommend! Read more

My husband and two sons all use Dr. Squatch soap. This fits their soaps perfect and suctions to the shower wall extremely easily. We’re very happy with our purchase of three of these. The quality is extremely nice and they look really great on the shower wall. Read more

This soap holder is a great value for the price. I was able to install it really quick, and the suction seems to be holding up far. I use it for my Dr. Squatch bars because it’s wide enough to keep the bar up there. It seems to be fairly durable and I believe it should stay up there for a while. Read more

I'm 79 years old. Since at least the 1960s I have bought various suction cup devices and I swear virtually every one failed to stick for very long. I hadn't bought any more for at least the last 20 years and thought for sure technology had advanced to a higher enough degree that they would definitely do their job but sadly I was wrong. I made several attempts over 5 days to get it to stick to my tiled bathroom sink wall (and following the instructions twisted it to supposedly secure the suction) and every time it fell off within a short period of time.
