This cuticle nipper and nail clipper set is great. The nail clippers while small work great and are the perfect size to throw in my purse for on the go nail emergencies. The cuticle nippers are perfect. The handles have rubber grip covers on them making holding onto them very easy and slip proof. The nippers themselves are nice and sharp and easily trim cuticles. The nippers look very well made and sturdy as well. For the price this set is awesome and I plan on getting a set for my daughter and a spare set for myself. Read more
At $3-$5, these are a great price. A cuticle nipper and fingernail trimmers for that price cannot be top quality, but these are a good quality for the price. The trimmers is smaller and my preferred size for trimming toddler and up sized children's nails. They work well and cut cleanly. I didn't have an issue with rough edges or not cutting all the way. The nippers are a bit clumsy but do an adequate job. The little metal piece to swivel to give a spring action, is hard to move and scrapes the paint on the inside of the handle each time the nippers is squeezed. For a backup, children who lose things, etc, these are perfect. Read more
I canβt recommend these cuticle nippers and nail clippers as you can find better quality ones. This is not a great quality product as the set (in particular the cuticle nippers) are made of material that is extremely lightweight and do not feel will last the test of time. The cuticle nippers are designed with a small thin bar on itβs handle that you twist open to allow the nippers a spring action as you clip your cuticles or closed for easier compact storage. This thin bar doesnβt look well constructed and looks as if it will detach after a few uses. The nail clippers are better quality but not by very much. They are very basic and the kind you have as an emergency backup you leave in the coin holder of your car (thatβs where I put mine anyway). It also says this set is targeted for the elderly but these are so lightweight, they easily slip out of your hands as it is not ergonomic and has no grips to hold onto. Read more

This is a functional set of cuticle nippers and a small nail clipper, but it's not the greatest quality. The clippers work just fine, no issues there - they cut OK and are the small size I needed for fingernails, since my kid disappeared my usual pair of nail clippers. The cuticle nippers, unfortunately, have some issues. The joint doesn't move smoothly, so it's kind of a struggle to use them. There's also a metal bar inside that you turn around to provide a bit of spring action, or resistance, so they pop back open after each cut (instructions don't mention this, in fact the nippers aren't mentioned at all) - but that bar doesn't solve the rough mechanism problem and scrapes the cute lavender paint off the inside of the handle with each use. You can turn that bar back around to prevent them from popping open and protect the blades a bit, but there's no cap included to help protect them and keep them sharp. And, the nippers are not very sharp to start with. I've used better quality cuticle nippers, and there's a big difference, so this will be a spare pair to keep in the car first aid kit for my kids' hangnail emergencies. Read more

the packaging for these looks nice. i'm sure it would remain pretty and undamaged-looking hanging on a peg in a retail space for.... years. the ones in their pictures on the ordering page do not look like the ones i was shipped. their nippers have the typical two-part metal spring action, and the nail clippers look larger and do not appear to be partially painted blue. their packaging photo advertises a "comfort, soft-touch handle" on the nippers, but mine are just bare metal painted blue. their photo shows a safety cap to leave on the nippers when not in use to protect them, mine did not come with any such feature. i remember shopping for comfy shoes back in the 90s and seeing the Aerosoles brand everywhere and i tried a pair, when i worked retail, and they weren't especially cute, and weren't especially comfortable. i tried one more time and ordered direct from them, online, in 2007 and the shoes arrived with one blue shoe and one green shoe, not even in matching sizes. obvious returns, sold as new, and they expected me to pay to return them? so going from that experience, i wasn't expecting much from these. and yet i was still disappointed. i used a good pair of scissors to cut my way into the packaging. i figured out how to rotate the metal piece on the nippers to make them spring-loaded. they do not function smoothly... you squeeze until the metal bar slips and then they close.... it is somewhat unpredictable and a little scary, when working with cuticles. the clippers themselves? interestingly once they're open and usable, the name-brand logo is hidden. they are... dull. i tried them first on a hangnail and they didn't fully cut through. so i tried them on an actual fingernail - natural nails, one coat of clear polish - and it cut ok, but it also made the cut edge start to peel a bit. i filed it down with my own glass nano file which helped fix and seal the damage but... these are not good nail clippers. for comparison, i have a pair of Revlon ones that are four years old. and i use them constantly. and those, even as old as they are, are so much nicer than these. these are also a little bit smaller. a couple years back i bought a box of 50 pairs of nail clippers for about fifteen bucks because my husband kept losing his and trying to take mine. these Aerosoles ones are just about as nice as those that were about thirty cents each. both of these items are going into the craft supplies bin, because that's the only way they'll get used. This nail kit came with nail cutters and cuticle cutters. The cuticle cutters were odd to use because you had to spread the handle apart like scissors but it was difficult to do this without finger holes. But the cutters worked well. The nail cutters, worked well, easy to use. Read more
