Solid Bargain
This little bag appears to be a bargain. At today's price at the time of this review, if you're in the market for a bag of this size, you might grab a couple or three. The construction is solid. Military grade. You can't miss at this price. What you get: A square bag about 8 inches of usable space inside, and about 3 1/2 inches in depth. Claims to be of nylon material, but could be its close cousin, polyester. The outside is textured like rough canvas, the inside is lined with softer, smoother material. There are three zippered pockets: 2 on the outside of the bag, and one inside the bag. The zippers are large and easy to grasp and look to be of good quality. The shoulder strap is a polyester webbing that is strong, but not made for comfort. If I were a camper or hiker, one of these bags could be used to carry my lunch, a pair of binoculars, my necessaries, or my phone and maps. For birders and photographers, especially, this bag could carry my binoculars or a nice camera. There is a metal zipper inside that might scratch said items, but some gaffer tape over the zipper would solve the issue. If you've priced other "messenger" bags or small photographer's camera bags, you know this is a legit bargain price. It would be outstanding to hold your camera or binoculars and accessories, but there's no spare room for extra lenses. A second bag would work for that. Read more
