These boots look great right out of the box. The color is rich, the stitching is clean, and the buckle details give them a nice, slightly edgy look without being over the top. They fit comfortably and feel good on the foot for casual wear, and the shaft height and shape sit nicely without rubbing. That said, my one concern is the sole durability. The soles feel a bit softer and lighter than expected, which makes me wonder how they’ll hold up with regular outdoor use or longer walks. I’m pleased with how comfortable these are! I typically wear 8.5 or 8.5W and decided on 8.5 in hopes that my custom orthotics would fit…and they do!!! Boots fabric is high quality faux “leather”. All the buckles….and I mean all of them are functional and are more than just decorative. These boots fit comfortably right out of the box. I wore them all day at work and ran some errands after. They are comfortable, sturdy, non slip sole. Color is like a cognac-ish / saddle brown. The toe box is wide and doesn’t bother my wide feet at all. I have a very high instep so they are a bit more difficult to pull on and off bc there is no zipper….a feature I LOVE about these boots. It’s easier for me to put them on with tights rather than socks. I would consider these as dress boots and not necessarily designed for warmth although I tend to have cold feet and I was very comfortable temperature wise, however I didn’t spend much time outdoors. These mid-calf riding boots have a nice style and the chunky low heel makes them comfortable for walking. I like the squared toe and buckle details.
