Great lights! 12 of 12 worked right out of the box. My boat slip is about 5 down from the end, and for whatever reason, I’m coming back to the dock well after dark. With lights on shore, I always have a hard time finding my slip far away enough to start a wide, ponderous sailboat turn. I got a dozen of these driveway lights (red/green) and used 10 of them to line my slip-red for port and green for starboard. The other two I positioned at the end of the fairway, as I have a hard time identifying that, too. All 12 took no more than 10 minutes to install with a Makita. No issues at all. Will they last? In the salt environment, maybe not a decade, but they’ll certainly last a few years. My son has a set for his boat, and he’s had them at two slips for 5 years without a single issue. Highly, highly recommend. Read more
While I cant speak to the longevity of these lights, I can say they look great. I used 2 sets (24 total lights) for my very long driveway, and spaced them 12ft apart, and used the warm color temp. Installation instructions didn't mention concrete mounting, but I used the hardware included. It said a 9mm drill bit for anchors, but as that was unavailable I used a 5/16", which seems to have worked well. If you plan on drilling into concrete like i did, I HIGHLY recommend a hammer drill, and a nice masonry bit.. it would be nearly impossible with a normal drill, and the standard masonry bit i started with only lasted 6 holes, while the nicer one i bought did the other 42 holes with ease and doesn't even look worn. I'll update this review in a few weeks to include durability, and any other notes. Some of the lights don't get much direct sunlight due to tree cover, so I'll be curious if they keep a charge. One more thing I was happy to see is that my cars headlights don't seem to turn these off when I drive up the driveway. I was a bit worried about this, but so far it doesn't seem to be an issue. I'll also try running at least one of them over with my truck. While I believe the metal case can support the weight, im a bit more concerned about the solar panel on top. If these work out well, I will buy a few more sets for my sidewalk, deck and front porch Update: 20 days in, and these lights seem to be holding up well. The lights that are primarily in the shade do tend to die after just a few hours, but that is to be expected when they aren't able to charge at full capacity. I plan on running these lights for another month or so, and if I haven't experienced any issues, I'll likely buy 2 more sets for my front porch, sidewalk, and deck. I feel like we have the fanciest driveway in the neighborhood now, lit up like a runway. Update: 90 days in, and one light has broken presumably from being run over by an amazon prime truck. I haven't yet reached out to the seller, and will update regarding if they replace it or not. The other 23 I installed are all still looking great, charging (even when indirect sunlight) and making our driveway look much fancier than it is. Despite this broken light, I would (and still will) buy this again. Read more
Well made! Exactly what we needed! Worth the money! These have been in place for 2 months now and are very reliable, coming on at dusk, and burning bright early in the morning after the long winter night Read more
These lights are fantastic! They are easy to install and provide a warm, pleasant glow. Perfect for drawers, cabinets, or even adding a cozy touch to the garden. Very practical and high-quality. I’m very happy with this purchase!” Read more
I would give these lights a five star rating however one of the lights was DOA. The quality of the product is great, well built. They last for many hours after recharging. Again if not for the one inoperable light this would be a fantastic buy. Read more
These are sweet! I have the blue turned on and they look like taxi lights. I don’t even have them screwed down and they don’t move with the wind gusts. They last at least until midnight even with the short, cloudy fall days. During longer days they were glowing for many hours! I’m waiting for them to go on sale again (they were $6.00 a light for 24), so I can get a few more! Read more
I've had these since 2023 and no issues whatsoever. I have gravel on both sides of my driveway, and instead of securing the lights down, I just put them right onto the gravel. They have never moved. They are heavy enough for their size and low profile enough, that the wind has never moved it. I was very surprised. They have moved in big snow storms as the snow melts, but never far from where I put them. The lights are plenty bright to mark the sides of my driveway. Read more
These are fantastic lights. One of the best solar lights I have bought. And I have purchased quite a few. Most. Junk, Not these. This is my 4 th purchase. I have 5 acres I am lighting up. They hold a charge. And look fantastic. That’s all the way down a fence line. After being on 5 hours and still bright. Read more
