Well made bracelet, product description off.
First off, the product description says it's made of 'zinc', and as far as I can tell it's made of what it looks like in the photo: Black beads of onyx or obsidian, two hematite (or polished alloy of some kind, I suppose this could be the 'zinc') beads, and one tiger eye bead. There are also two smaller hematite beads that act as pulls for the adjustable slider. I have no way to test the composition of the beads without destroying some of them and the bracelet itself, so I don't want to. The bracelet is exactly as pictured. I think it's quite well made. It's easy to resize, and seems to cover a wide variety of sizes. The cord is tight and strong and the adjustable part has enough tension to not loosen while wearing it all day. The knots are all very tight and perfect. This isn't coming apart unless the cord snaps or is cut. It has the right weight to it, the right thermal conductivity, and the right click-clack sound, too. Feels like stone beads. My only complaint is that I do wish the beads were looser on the string. There are retaining knots keeping the beads from sliding around like Greek worry/fidget beads (Komboloi). This is minor and a personal preference thing, though. Read more
