The smart glasses are good, both works woth the same "heycyan" app, works have the photochromic lenses that get darker under the sun light, both have the blue light screen protection in their lenses. Both have good quality for playing music. A1_pro is wider than Q8, I think that Q8 looks a little bit more beautiful than A1 pro, It looks like the microphone of the Q8 record better than A1 pro. Both have the same AI function. Read more

I tried these smart glasses mainly for short recordings, outdoor use, and testing the AI translation feature. The build is lightweight, which makes them comfortable enough to wear during walks or casual activities. The camera captures in 1080P, and while the footage is clear enough for casual videos or travel snippets, it is not on par with a dedicated action camera. Audio is handled through Bluetooth, and the connection stayed stable when paired with my phone for both music and calls. The real-time translation is an interesting function. It works decently in quiet environments, giving quick results when I tested English to Chinese and Spanish. In noisier settings, however, the accuracy dropped, so it’s best used in one-on-one conversations rather than busy streets. Battery performance is mixed. The specs say 12 minutes of continuous video recording at a time and up to 1.5 hours total. That limitation makes them suitable only for short clips, not for documenting an entire event. Music playback lasted longer, around the advertised 10 hours, which is better suited for daily use. The charging is relatively quick at about 70 minutes, so downtime isn’t too bad. Overall, these smart glasses are more of a niche accessory than a replacement for standalone devices. They’re handy for travelers who want hands-free short recordings and occasional translation support. If you’re looking for extended video capture or professional-grade footage, this won’t meet that need, but for lightweight, casual use, they offer an interesting combination of features. Read more

Used these on a family hike and they held up fine. Frame has a bit of weight but feels smooth and doesn’t shift once set. Video came out sharp, photos clear even with movement, and the audio stayed steady without cutting out. Touch spot on the side clicks firm and reacts quick, no lag. Bluetooth paired straight off the phone, no hassle. Battery covers short clips, though not for an all-day stretch. The kids liked taking turns with them on the trail, and I’ve also been using them for my own runs and bike rides. Tried the translation once and it caught simple phrases without trouble. Now whenever the kids spot them, they’re quick to put them on. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I really like these glasses. A bit tight on the head but not too bad. If I was a guy it would be hard to wear them all day. My only issue is that they only record for 3 minutes at a time. I wish I had realized that because I did miss out on a lot of footage that I thought I had recorded. I haven't found a way to increase that limit, if I find out how I will edit my review and up the stars. I haven't used them a ton, because of the time limit. But I have not found issues of them falling apart. On an outing many of my friends used them so I was taking them on and off all day. Charging is easy and so is downloading the videos and pictures. When I was shopping for glasses that record I was often wishing people would upload videos showing the quality. At the start of the video I attached was me testing the controls again. Nothing interesting but shows quality. Second video is partially blurred so that my review doesnt get denied. Last video was my first time using them so that clicking sound was me trying to figure out the controls but shows the video in low lighting which I thought was important. I don't use the AI function. I tried it once and it was EXTREMELY detailed on explaining what I was seeing. I tried again another time and it just didnt do anything. But I bought these for POV video. I will say they're a bit obvious that they're not regular glasses as they are a bit bulky. But they don't look odd either. Read more

I like walking for exercise, and these glasses give me music while letting me leave my earbuds at home. The sound feels balanced, not tinny, and I don’t have to worry about wires or losing an earpiece. The controls are built into the frame, so a quick touch lets me skip a song or take a call without digging into my pocket. On top of that, I’ve been recording the scenery around me. The wide frame of view makes the videos look natural, like what I see with my own eyes. Playback on my phone looks steady, not shaky even when I’m moving at a brisk pace. Read more

Cooking while recording recipes is easier now. I can start a video with just a tap and not worry about my phone getting messy. Looking back at the footage later, I can see the steps I took clearly, almost like I’m watching a tutorial of my own. The voice control makes it simple—I don’t have to stop and touch the frame if my hands are dirty. Audio playback during prep keeps me entertained, and the calls I take while in the kitchen don’t require me to stop what I’m doing. They fit lightly enough that I forget I have them on while moving around the kitchen. Read more
