It really helped the pain in my right thumb and wrist. Read more
I got this because it's bound around the edges. It provides decent support; however, the metal piece slides out often, and that is annoying. I won't order again because of that. Read more
Great support for trigger thumb Read more

The brace offers decent support and definitely helped stabilize my thumb to reduce the "triggering" and associated pain. I appreciated that it was adjustable for use on either my right or left hand. However, I found the fit quite uncomfortable. Despite multiple adjustments, the material felt bulky and rubbed in a few spots, especially around the wrist and base of the thumb. It provided temporary relief, but I struggled to wear it for long periods due to the poor fit. It gets the job done for basic stabilization, but could be much better with a slimmer, more comfortable design. Read more
If you're looking to Isolate the Thumb this little support/brace works pretty well. Just a bit cumbersome to get fitted and snug, but it does work well. It is comfortable when worn. As a protection against motion of the joints in your thumb it is certainly worth the price. Read more
I found this to be a well-made thumb brace that works well. My physical therapist recommended a brace of this type to relieve wrist pain due to arthritis in my lower thumb joint. This brace is similar to the one she recommended at a fraction of the cost, less than a third of the price. The brace is easy to put on and take off. It has a removable aluminum stiffener to help align the thumb. The stiffener works as intended, limiting thumb movement, initially I found using the splint uncomfortable and somewhat inconvenient during the day. Luckly, it is easy to remove, just slide it out of the pocket. Reinstalling is just as simple, the metal splint fits snuggly in the pocket, once in place, it is unlikely to drop out. Once I got use to the brace, the splint became less of an issue and I keep it installed fulltime now as it positions the problem bone in the proper orientation to reduce the pain. The brace is made of a neoprene type fabric with Velcro fasteners on the three straps. Based on the sizing chart I ordered a “Large”, as my palm measured about 21.5cm. I think a medium would have worked, as the brace has ample room. The fabric has a bit of stretch, which combined with the Velcro straps allows you to achieve a good fit. At the time of my order, the brace was priced around $12, which I feel is an excellent value, especially when compared to other wrist braces I have purchased. Bottom line: A high-quality “thumb” brace that works well for CMC pain relief. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I've had a problem with my thumb for a few years--basically it get's "stuck" sometimes when I try to bend it. Over the course of a day, it gets sore, swells a bit, and is just a bit uncomfortable. I bought a thumb brace in the past, which actually helped a lot, but it kept my thumb so stiff and unmoving that I couldn't use my thumb for basic things like--a computer mouse. As a gamer, that was no bueno. So I ended up not using it at all despite it helping. I decided to pick this up since it was on my feed, and I can say, I think its a better product than what I used before. What I like about it is that I can still use my thumb for basic tasks--like right now I'm able to type and use my thumb on the key board with no issues. The brace has four places it secures to your hand. First, there is a sleeve your thumb fits through, and then secondly, there is a Velcro wrap that goes over the thumb so you can keep it as secure or loose as you'd like. There is a metal band that runs down the side of the glove to provide additional support, and it is solid enough that you cannot adjust it, its fixed. The last two secure points are around the wrist with the first being a gentle Velcro that ensures the glove is fixed to your wrist, and the last one is the Velcro wrap that applies as much or as little stability as you want depending on how tight you affix it. Overall, this is very well designed, is comfortable, and a really good choice if you need something to help with a thumb issue. The product arrived in a generic bag that is typical of products I've received manufactured in China, with no security seals--it was basically a zip lock style bag, which I don't fault it for because I really can't think of how someone would tamper with this device... itching powder maybe... But yeah, overall, this is a great product at a really good price point. For reference, I ordered a medium size which was perfect for me--my wrist is about 60 mm across (or about 2.35 inches) and about 46 mm thick (or about 1.8 inches). I wouldn't hesitate to pick this product up again. Read more
