The material is just like a parachute/windbreaker material which I like. It isn't that thick material that makes one sweat. I ordered 2XL and the length and width and waist band are fine. I am 5'10"ish and 185 lbs. large boned. I think they may run small but can't be sure about that. They don't have a lining which means they may or may not be too thin for very cold weather, unless one wears some thin pants underneath, like leggings etc. The pockets are deep. I am pleasantly surprised with them. They are just like the sort of parachute/exercise/dance pants we wore in the Y2K era. I am planning on hand wash, in cold water, and towel/drip dry to ensure they live a long life. I like! Read more
