These took some effort to get on as these have no zip, hence the docking of a single star. Once you do they're incredibly cozy and SO PRETTY. The shaft itself isn't hard to get your foot in, it's just the part at the heel that folds under your foot when you're trying to get the rest of the way in. I got the black in a size 10 and they fit wonderfully. No cramping at the toes, even though they're pointed and sharp enough to slay vampires. No blisters, or rubbing at the heels or pinky toes. They keep your feet decently toasty and they look like you're dressing up as Beauty and the Beast having a snowball fight. A little snow princess moment. They come up about mid calf and they didn't slide down or bunch whatsoever. The buckle is a shiny platinum like silver and has a little bit of weight to it. It jingles ever so slightly while you walk, like little ice bells announcing your path to a room. The material is nice and soft with no odd stitching or visible glue. The heel height is incredibly easy to walk in and overall the construction is solid. You WILL be able to pull these on and off multiple times without worry they will tear or warp after a few hard tugs.The black is a rich true black and they come in multiple classy colorways. If you wanted to collect all of them, it wouldn't break the bank. These will be lovely during the holidays- a truly Cindy Lou Who moment for the cuties, and a stunning Martha May look for the baddies. These are a boot that will STAY in my fall/winter rotation, until my hands are too shaky with arthritis to pull on. Even then I'll just volunteer a happy little elf to do it for me! These boots are so cute. I love the silver lock details and the white fur like looking lining. The are pretty comfortable even for me and I have pretty wide feet. Oh my gosh I love these boots! They are so very comfy. They come in an orange shoe box. The shoes are inside of individual sheer fabric bags. Inside them are styrofoam forms inside of plastic with short sturdy plastic foams inside the leg parts. After unpackaging, the leg part is floppy, but after taking them off, thy stand right up without falling down. Ok to start off, the fabric used to make them is a soft suede material. So keep lint roller just incase you need it before wearing. It doesn’t fall down either where wearing them. They stay exactly where they’re are meant to. They’re wide calf as well. They are easy to slip on, but a bit of a struggle pulling them off. You will most likely need help. There is no zipper on them which would’ve came in handy due to how it is getting them off. The heels feel supportive to me, and I’m about 180 lbs. I can comfortably walk in them without any leaning or feeling like the heal would not support me. Did I mention how comfortable they are?! The faux fur in the top and bottom did have a few loose strands that I had to cut off, but it didn’t alter the way they looked nor functioned. And except for a couple of minor, unnoticeable imperfections, they really are well-made. Pairing the faux sheep fur with the suede was a brilliant idea. Along with the padlock dangling from the sides, these boots broadcast to everyone that you care about style. They are quite easy to slip on and pull off. They truly are comfortable to walk around in. I wore them for an entire day, AND I was on my feet all day. I didn't stumble or fall, and there were no physical repercussions the next day. These boots are true to size.
