I took in my elderly disabled uncle because there was no one else, and nursing homes only hasten the end, IMHO. Especially the nursing homes for the not rich population. At 80 years old, he is hard of hearing and watches nothing but sports 24/7. I got him these so he can watch his sports via his laptop all he wants, as loud as he wants, without disturbing me or anyone else. It's only been about a week, and they still work. At the price I paid, even if I had to replace once a month, it's so worth it! I can only attest that it covers his huge ears fully and comfortably and he has no issues plugging them into his laptop. I purposely chose not to get bluetooth/wifi earphones because I'd be the one fixing it should it lose signal, either by something that knocks off all wifi/Bluetooth or by something he did (which does happen a lot). I had listened when they first arrived, they got pretty good sound. Are they Beats, JBL or Bose? No, but then again with the price point you'd be a fool to expect that kind of quality. If I was still working in a warehouse, or any job that let's you listen to music while you work and (like me) my ear canals are small, it's hard to find a decent pair that doesn't cause pain. Plus, I'm prone to misplacing things. Even my personal ear buds for hands free driving are wired. PITA, for sure, but at least I'm not having to replace $100+ on a new set every time I lose one, or both. These were actually recommended by my one cousin who's son is severely autistic. He's very hard on headphones, it's not unheard of for him to go through a few sets a month. She keeps at least 2 extra at all times. I would say they are of decent quality, again we are not reviewing a much higher priced set, so keep that in mind. If/when they no longer work, I will come back to update. So far, I am happy with this purchase. Read more

These are adorable, they sound amazing! I was apprehensive as I thought the cup size would look silly on a grown trans woman at 66 years of age. They look great and more importantly sound very good! Price is excellent as well. Very good item, hope they last. Read more

Fantastic sound - as good as my "good ol' Standby" wired "Beats" which cost 3X more. Really does Rival them. However - one thing against them (Con) is that they are indeed QUIETER Than the other wired headphones I have. That is - while they sound just as good as the others (maybe even a slight more Bass response), at Full Volume they are noticeably Less Loud as the other ones - almost as if they have a buit-in "Governer" that assures the Kids won't "Blast their Ears out" even if they Max them out. At the highest volume these headphones are about as loud as you ever want to hear your music, but with that, there is No "Headroom". I did a thorough Comparison test using these headphones & 2 other sets I have (the Beats & another older equivalent set) - both of my other Headphones beat out these headphones by most likely about +5 to about +8 Db (IMO) ! - a real noticeable difference. The advantage with the older, louder phones is that you have the Headroom to turn them up a little louder (short of the "Danger Zone") if desired. These phones have to be peaked all the way to get the full sound you want at certain times (BTW - the test was done using a high fidelity Stereo studio recording [Govi - Call of the East - my Favorite] with my android phone's volume Maxed. A "Deal Breaker" ? I don't know - You decide. Although these are fantastic quality, lightweight wired headphones (complete with Microphone !) for only 20 bucks, I wanted to make sure to let you all know of my findings in the differences in VOLUME ! (around say (-5 to -8 or even -10 Db). Hope This Helps. UPDATE : This fine company worked with me to make me happy - much appreciated ! All in all, IMO these are the best looking (real "Chrome Retro-Snazzi"), best sounding (a just-right amount of extra Bass !) Good old fashioned sturdy wired headphones (those wireless headphones look ridiculous) & the beautiful leatherette padded ear sections help keep the outside noise out & also keeps my ears warm ! I love these headphones so much, I just HAD to order me another pair (Blue). NOTE : While these phones are quite Heavy-Duty, they are also quite "Honkin" - that is, while they are on, you have to be careful not to get your head too close to anything - they stick out so much you'll bang into all kinds of things nearby - you'll see - LOL! I bought these headphones for my son to use at school, and they’ve been great so far! The sound quality is really good, clear audio and nice bass. He says they’re very comfortable to wear for long periods, and the adjustable headband makes it easy to get the right fit. I love that they fold up nicely, so they’re easy to pack in his backpack without taking up too much space. The cord feels strong and doesn’t tangle easily, which is a big plus. Overall, really good quality for the price and perfect for school use. Highly recommend! Read more

I purchased these when a cord on an old pair broke. Almost noise canceling. Heavy after wearing for an hour or so. Nice sound & enjoy volume control on cord. I use them on an IPad. Read more
