I can wear them with a 'double tie over' but a medium would of worked best. Coverage is good to cover your bum. I like the lightweight feel of style. I think they will look pretty even with beach wind with the light ruffles. Quality is ok - normal type of material for wrap cover. The dual functionality of using wrap for a top cover is nice.
