Bought this in an attempt to alleviate some of my husband’s allergies. He’s allergic to grass so any time I have the windows open in the spring, summer, or fall, he would inevitably start sneezing and itching. But ever since getting this purifier, I’ve been able to keep the windows open for longer and have this unit running in our bedroom at night to help keep it clean. There has definitely been a noticeable improvement. The noise level is perfectly acceptable as well. Love these! I bought one for each floor and I’ve noticed a difference in the amount of dust on the bookshelves I don’t get to as often. The fan has a gently breeze that you can feel if your hand is right up near it, but not from far away. Which I think is why the diffuser doesn’t really work that well (hence the 4 stars). These have changed the air quality in my home. I originally would use them in a timer. I now run them 24/7 and my filter lasted almost a year. My allergy symptoms have decreased and my nephew who has severe allergies is able to be in my home 7-8 hours before becoming symptomatic as opposed to 1-2 hours. This has blessed us. I have had this unit for over 6 months now and love it! First off, very quiet, very easy to set up! Second the Hepa filter is amazing! My daughter has suffered every year with horrible seasonal allergies, loading her up on Clairton was not what I wanted to do. I am happy to say that after placing this in her room and letting in run all day and night, she has not needed any medication this season, which is INCREDIBLE! I have since, purchased another one for my sons room. The night light is a soft hue and adds a nice ambience to the room as well.
