Love this thing. I have it set on a low setting and it's nearly silent. On medium it's more of a white noise machine. It has an on-board air quality monitor that displays the amount of particles on the screen on top of the machine. It typically gets down to about 0.03ug/m PM2.5 particles. I've not yet used it through an allergy season, but with that sort of performance I am hopeful we might see some relief in the Spring. We have 3 dogs and everyone in my household is allergic to trees and grass. I wanted to get an air purifier to cut down on those allergens that come inside on the dogs fur. I ordered the Cobectal Air Purifier For Home. This is a well build air purifier with high efficiency hepa filter. It includes 4 fan speeds with auto adjustable mode, timer up to 8 hours of run time, ambient lighting, filter replacement indicator light and child lock fuction. The filter is easy to remove and replace with the base of the purifier has a twist lid to lock and unlock. I use alot of essential oils and love that it includes an aromatherapy slot to add your favorite scent. It's quiet on the lower fan levels, but is a little louder on level 4. I have it in my livingroom, so If we are watching tv I rarely put it on that level. It's can easily be used in any room in your home. I picked this up mostly to help with pet dander and general air quality in my kitchen. I have a large dog, and while he’s super clean, pet smells and hair tend to build up fast. This air purifier looked like it checked all the boxes—high square footage coverage, HEPA filter, and even a built-in aroma function. Now that I’ve used it for a few weeks, here’s my honest take: First, the aroma function is the best part. Just a few drops of essential oil and the entire kitchen smells clean and fresh within minutes. That alone makes it worth keeping around—it does a better job spreading scent than most diffusers I’ve tried. That said, it definitely doesn’t cover anywhere close to 1650 square feet. It struggles to even maintain the air in my 400 square foot kitchen. If there’s been cooking, or if my dog’s been shedding a lot, I still notice lingering smells and particles even when it’s been running all day. I have to keep it on a higher setting to really notice any impact, which gets a bit noisy. That said—it does work. My dog starts sneezing almost immediately when we step outside, but never has that reaction inside. So clearly, it’s catching something. I just think the square footage claim is overselling what this unit can actually handle, especially in high-traffic, high-dander environments. So if you’re buying this for its scent function or as a light-duty air freshener, it’s a great pick. My air quality is now better than ever especially living in an apartment with no so clean people I have to share air with. Sadly I live in a building where a lot of people use hard drugs and it can reek of ammonia or tobacco so this feels like an actual life saver in the second hand smoke department so it seems to function very well. I opened up some tea powder and it can usually choke me up so I opened it next to the air purifier and it shot up to 500 and started to work quickly to eliminate the pollutants within a minute so the auto feature works very well and seems to pretty accurate. The size and weight is a little big but it does not seem to take up a lot of space if you find a good spot since it will be well worth it for how well it works. I turn this on fan speed 4 for when I am cooking so I don't have to get overwhelmed with the cooking smells overtaking my apartment which is about the size is claims to be able to clear which is seems to be more than powerful enough. The fan speed noise is definitely noticeable especially at higher levels but it is a feel good fan noise to me since it means it is cleaning my air and it indeed works very well now I have no use for air sprays which according to this thing are bad to breathe anyways lol. The aroma function seems to be very faint or the essential oils I have don't work well with this function since they are very strong in my humidifier but it is a neat feature. The ambient light indicating air quality is a neat feature along with the PM2.5 sensor since it helps you maintain the best air quality you want. The timer setting and child lock mode function perfectly and as described so no worry about worrying about this constantly. The power cord is nice and long to reach in many different locations while the touchscreen is easy to access and use. The filter is able to be vacuumed and overall the whole device is easy to clean. I don't know if it placebo, which I do not think it is, but I breathe so much clearer now and when the air quality alerts go off for outside this does reflect that back since the windows aren't sealed the best and the auto function will kick in to combat the increase in pollutants. Overall I am no expert in air purifiers or their market but this does appear to be a fair price for the quality you receive especially for the coverage it can do but I do wish their were different color options or more importantly a black one but that is just me being "picky".
