The Air Wick Essential Mist Diffuser is an awesome device! It has 5 adjustable settings, it's cordless & portable, and it is quiet. The top of the device will glow as it releases the mist. It does require 3 "AA" batteries for operation, and the batteries are included. When initially turned on, it will be 2x the fragrance boost. It will then release the mist at regular intervals (based on what setting you choose) for 8 hours, and then it will go into a standby mode for the next 16 hours. Each refill will last up to 45 days, depending on the settings you choose. There is a wide variety of refill scents available from floral to fruity to woodsy, and everything in between. I love how well this fills my house with the amazing scent! I actually prefer using this to the candles I have been using for many years...and it's a lot cheaper, too!
