Looks Great Works Great
The AirDoctor 4000 blends into our living room both in looks and in sound. It does not make a noise on auto. We have seen the AirDoctor go into high gear whenever we burn something in the kitchen or when we are using our nebulizer in the house so we are very impressed with the sensors. Read more
Flagship unit most likely defective production
Worked great for a week or two. Then as another person mentioned, it demanded a filter change. If the red filter light is on, the machine literally quits working/purifying!! It just turns into a useless brick. I had ordered a spare filter when they were on sale so reluctantly opened it and swapped out an already new filter for another new filter. And within a couple minutes it demanded a filter change again. Air Doctor customer service has been easy to deal with though. We went through troubleshooting, photos, videos. They are sending me a replacement for the spare filter I opened and also sending me a whole new purifier. Although, it’s taking very long to arrive. I must pack and send everything back to them once the replacements arrive. I’ve been without a purifier for over a week now. They refused to expedite shipping or anything. I was looking into Air Doctor for a year at least but the initial cost is a massive turn off, plus the filter must be replaced every 6 months (~$90). I was so excited to finally have this in my home and it’s just been a complete let down. I can’t even speak for it cleaning my air because it malfunctioned before I could comment on its effectiveness. Read more
