Customers find the tonsil stone removal kit effective, with the lighted end being very helpful for locating stones and the metal tool being particularly useful.

This is a little graphic. Since I first discovered I had tonsils stones about 25 years ago I tried the back of pens, cue tips, Bobby pins. Finally started using my finger to push them out cause it was the most effective. After 25 years I had one I couldn’t seem to get rid of. Kept getting that bad taste but nothing was coming out and I couldn’t see it. My tonsils were bloody and swollen. I finally scraped it out with my finger eventually before the kit came. Wasn’t a pleasant experience. The kit came and I didn’t think I had any stones. Most people who get them start to realize when they’re getting bad, with a bad taste or a minuscule sensation back there. I decided to dig into my tonsil anyways and I can NOT believe how much came out. Huge pieces kept coming and they were smelling worse as I kept going 🤮. Leads to to believe my stones were so much worse then I expected and there was always some stuck back there. When I thought I was done I kept going and huge pieces kept coming out. Literally disgusted with myself. Great tool and the flashlight is crucial. Came with tons of extra batteries as well. Read more
I'm kind of a big guy. It's a long way to the back of my throat and these tools just come up a little short to be as easy to use as they could be. I'd gladly go for a more expensive kit with much longer gently curved probes and a separate camera/light device that could connect to a smartphone. Unfortunately, Amazon doesn't seem to have anything like this. This is two identical kits plus the syringe and doesn't have anything more than what the single kits do. It's so cheap I thought I'd take the chance and see if one of the kits wasn't somewhat different from the rest of them. It wasn't. Unless you're buying a kit for you and another person I'd go with the singles. Overall, considering the cost these aren't bad for the price. I expected something very cheaply made but functional and that's what I received. Read more
I like these OK, and once you get used to using them, you’ll learn how to extract your tonsil stones. But, repeatedly, if I apply any pressure - and you know there has to be some pressure applied – – the tip pops off. I’m relieved that I haven’t swallowed it yet. It needs to have a tighter fit! I’ve suffered tonsils stones since I was little and got sick with strep a lot. I was supposed to get my tonsils removed years ago but I called off the surgery because I was too scared. I used to use random tools around the house, Bobby pins, dental stuff, qtips you name it. Until I bought this!! I get huge tonsil stones the size of gum balls, and this tool removed them all in one hit! My tonsils used to be swollen from how big these suckers were. And they shrunk back to normal after! No more throat pain. This is a god send, to avoid any type of surgery! 10/10! Read more
the only way to get rid of bad breath is to remove your tonsil stones or have your tonsils removed. this kit is the best for removing those nasty tonsil stones hands down, especially considering the price. ive tried using a pen light and an earwax loop tool / q tips / pencils / water pick / tongue scraper / mouth washes… nothing comes close to how great this tool works in comparison. also the tip has a rubber coating so its gentle on the soft skin in the back of your throat. what an amazing little tool. extremely satisfied. the way the led light works with the clear plastic is just perfect. I’ve had tonsil stones for many many years. The electric water pick type of tool is too strong for me, but the syringe and light up tool with this kit really does the trick. Read more
The only positive I can say about this is the rubber tips for the scoop and the length of the longer one. Past that it’s absolute junk. The batteries died after one use and they can’t be removed to install the replacement ones. There are no instructions on how to do this… for those wondering it has to be completely taken apart (broken) in order to access the batteries. Cheap junk. My last one lasted me from 2018 to present and the only reason I was replacing it was it needed new batteries (which cost more than a new unit so I just bought a new one) the replacement batteries from this went into my original one and it works great. The silicone tips fit on my original one as well. Sadly the longer stick does not fit my old one so I’m stuck with the shorter ones. At least the light is on again. Hopefully these batteries don’t die too. Read more
