If you didn't know what it was you wouldn't know that the reflector contained the Airtag
It's plastic but it is very strong, holds the Airtag securely and is well designed. For function is does exactly what it is intended to do. The kit included with the reflector provides all the materials you need to secure it to the seatpost so that it doesn't slide around or fall off the bike. Most importantly if you didn't know what it was you wouldn't know that the reflector contained the Airtag which means that the chances of the Airtag staying with the bike if stolen are pretty high. Great, but can get brittle.
I think these are a great concept and they do work well but if the seat post is even slightly thicker than the ring is, it will eventually break. The plastic seems to get brittle after a while and we've now had two of them snap, especially in dusty & dry (and hot) environments, like northern Nevada. Read more
