I got my daughter a bike for Christmas and even though she takes very good care of her things, I wanted to be sure that we had a way to track the bicycle if somehow it did get stolen. This reflector is basically indistinguishable from the ones that came standard with the bicycle, and the quality of the reflector itself is very good. The AirTag is hidden completely within the housing. It was easy to install and came with a lot of different parts to vary the installation so it should fit on probably any size of frame. Obviously, you do have to purchase the AirTag separately. Read more
After our neighbor boy's bike was stolen off the street I wanted a way to make sure we'd be able to track my daughter's bike down in case it was stolen as well. Additionally, we can see where she is on her bike. I love that the airtag is hidden and inconspicuous. No one would ever know there is an AirTag in the reflector. It was easy to mount on the bike and holds on well. This comes in a two pack and it works perfectly for our needs. I would recommend buying this product. It's worth it. Read more
I like it 👍🏼 Looks inconspicuous enough, the housing for the AirTag could be a little lower profile (ie slimmer) in any future design though. There were little tabs that I cut to push the AirTag in a little deeper, so there is a little wiggle room (2 or 3 mm) to make it slimmer. This is probably being a little picky but you can kind of see something circular/unusual/shiny/white if you’re REALLY looking closely at it from the side without cutting the tabs (most people will certainly not notice a thing unless they’re looking for it). Great idea, I would definitely buy another if there’s some thoughtful design improvements in the future (eg- make a matching front reflector of the exact same design that may or may not have an AirTag in it as well, make it flatter on the outside- concealing any circular AirTag shaped cavity, consider making the reflector snap into place after the AirTag is in so it looks more like a normal reflector, use pitlock screws and make it out of metal so you’d need an angle grinder to remove the reflector/AirTag). If you could make an exact copy of an average existing reflector design that would be brilliant. I’d recommend it, just don’t go telling everyone about it Read more
I was afraid of the AirTag being visible through the reflector, but it is not! It was super easy to install and came with the Allen wrench also. It fits on my bike very well and it’s stable. The Airtag fits snug in the cavity and seems invisible. I keep my bike outside in the rain and the AirTag still works! Read more
