I bought this dress and a few other dresses to see which style fit best. I am 5’3” and weigh approximately 120-125 lbs; I have an hour glass figure with my measurements being 34”-29”-40” so this dress fit perfectly. I love the retro design and how it has a simple elegance to it. The material is somewhat thinner than the others, mostly polyester, but wearing shapewear will take care of any issues. I used one for tummy control (I have a little stomach pudge especially after eating dinner). I bought the navy blue dress. I definitely recommend. Read more

Overall, the dress is nice. Fabric is a bit thin, but ok. Loved the neckline and front part of the skirt. I'm usually a 10/12 in dresses (36F, 43in hip) and ordered the extra large; it fit the bust and waist ok and was fitted on the hip. I'm 5'4" and the back part of the skirt landed just above where my Spanx end, so I would have had to go without or get the shorter ones (which I don't like because I have big thighs). I returned because I just didn't like the shortness of the back but would absolutely own in every color if it were a bit longer. Read more

Very flattering, but sizing is tricky for pear shapes

This is a gorgeous, flattering dress. I bought both a L and an XL, and neither fit perfectly. The L was too snug in the hips, and the XL was too wide in the top. I ended up wearing the XL to an evening, black-only wedding and pinned it on the sides and to my bra straps to keep it fitted and on straight. For reference, I am 5'4", 130 lbs, 36-30-38. The fabric is a bit thin too, so if you're going to wear it outside during the day, just know that the sun shines through the bottom half. Overall, a great dress. Read more
