I love this little bag. If you are looking for a small duffle for the gym or an overnight stay, etc. this is a great bag. It could fit a weekends worth of clothes, if you are an efficient packer. It is very sturdy with lots of little pockets for organizing and it expands an extra inch when needed. The waterproof pocket is large and zips off so you can take it out of the bag. The bag does not have a shoe compartment like a lot of duffles which was a plus for me and I like that it expands around (instead of on the bottom) and evenly. I bought this in khaki and the color is as pictured. The material seems like it would be easy to wipe clean and the bag could definitely be used as a personal item as it would fit under the seat. I haven’t tested it yet but I bet it would fit under the smaller sized aisle seat. All that being said, I don’t know that this is a $40 bag. I would pick this over other small duffles so I would make sure you’re comparing price to other bags you are considering and choose this if it is slightly more expensive and comparable in size. Minor detail, but it seems like they cheaped out on the zipper pulls compared to what’s pictured in the listing. Instead of the fully color-matched, custom-shaped round pulls, we’ve got rounded rectangles that are glued onto regular silver tabs. Obviously not a thing that makes a huge difference, but it’s kind of a bummer when the rest of the bag does such a good job of color matching details, and it’s definitely a detail that makes this otherwise cute, minimalist bag look cheaper. It does also slightly make me wonder what other, less visible, compromises might’ve been made in the construction. This is just a first impression—I haven’t yet used the bag, and I do still think it’s cute overall. But noticing this did kinda spoil my first impression a bit, and I think someone attracted to this design (especially in the apricot color I got) might be bothered by this. Read more

This bag is surprisingly roomy, I was delighted by how much I could fit in here. It has plenty of secure pockets with good zippers, so I didn't feel worried about losing my items. It fit my 15 inch work laptop, but it will be a tighter fit if you have a thicker laptop case. I like that it comes with the longer strap to make it a crossbody bag, but I was also surprised that it was still comfortable carry on one shoulder with the shorter straps.
