Very thick lather, nice product
I have never tried a rice soap before. This bar of soap is really nicely packaged. There was a cellophane wrapper outside of a nice, sturdy box and inside, I found the foaming net and the bar of soap inside a layer of plastic wrap. So, it was very fresh when I opened it. My first impression of the soap itself out of the box is that it has a sticky feel to it and it is on the smaller end for a bar of soap. I am unsure if the sticky feel is typical for a rice soap or not. The foaming net is a nice accessory for the soap and I used it as instructed on the box. It creates a very thick lather unlike any other soap I have used. It's a little hard to describe. The lather is sort of stretchy, but unlike the dry bar of soap, it did not feel sticky at all. It made my skin feel clean and I liked that the foaming net also provides a bit of an exfoliation factor. The smell of the soap is very, very light and clean. I like this soap and will continue using it. I only wish that the bar were a bit larger. Read more
