I am a woman of "a certain age." Not a small woman either... I usually wear a USA size L/XL. I ordered the XL, as I never know how things are sized and didn't want it too small, but could have worn a large. The material is 60% Polyester, 35% Cotton, 5% Spandex. I wish it had more cotton in it, but that's just my personal preference. The polyester keeps this from shrinking in the wash, and it doesn't wrinkle, making it perfect for packing in a suitcase for vacations. (I had laundered this before wearing it.) The fabric is a lightweight, silky, knit material, but is heavy enough not to be sheer or see-thru. The vee neck, 3/4 length sleeves, and shirt tail hem detailing along with the buttons at the bust, add style and look slimming when worn. I took a chance on this shirt. I wasn't sure if the size chart referred to me or the garment. I went with my hunch and decided it was the measurement of the garment. I normally wear a L but got an XL after measuring a favorite top in my closet. It turned out to be a good decision. Although if you examine the shirt it is very simply sewn, the material, which has a lightweight polyester/bamboo feel, still gives it a drape, and the pattern hides the absence of any real styling. It skims the body without clinging to it. The length falls to the hips, just like on the model. The sleeves are 3/4 on me, but could be a little shorter on someone with long arms. Mine are short and sleeves tend to be longish on me. The buttons are just decoration down the center, with no buttonhole. I washed this in a cold water wash and dried it on the permanent press setting. I was pleased with how it came out. It did not shrink, fade, or deform in any way. The seams stayed strong. There were no wrinkles at all. The pattern was a good choice. The colors are bright but not primary. The patchwork disguises the simplicity of how it is sewn. I think the solid would not fair as well in that department. In all it is, while definitely not a fine piece of clothing, it is well worth the price. It is easy to care for. It looks cute. Read more

This AKEWEI top is comfortable and runs true to size. The cut is more of a traditional cut, so it is not as relaxed in the shoulders and arms as I was expecting. It's not tight, it's just cut a little closer to the body than a relaxed silhouette cut would be. The sleeves hit me mid-forearm, so it is definitely a 3/4 sleeve shirt. The print was nicely done with no smeared or blobby spots. The material is soft, and does have a bit of a synthetic feel. This shirt washed well on cold and I hung it to dry with no problems or wrinkling. It's very packable for trips/vacations. The length is a tunic length, and the top was not flowy and loose, but also not snug or tight. Just a nice top to have in the closet that's comfortable and looks good. Read more

This isn't a bad little top. I'm not sure how I feel about the print that I chose; I got the brown plaid. It has sort of an empire waistline that peaks slightly in the middle, under the bust. It has 3 little wood-look buttons on the front for some interest. The front is gathered and flowy. It has a very casual vibe and would pair well with jeans. The fabric is pretty lightweight. If wearing in colder weather, you'll probably want an undershirt. I weigh between 150-155 lbs, stand 5' 7" tall, with a 36" bust, 32" waist, and 41" hips. I ordered a medium. Read more

Love the true red color and the fabric is very soft. It is very well constructed and the stitching is very well sewn and growing up seeing a seamstress I notice all those details because they are important to ensure that it is a piece that will endure normal wear and will not have loose threads unravel at the hems when you wash and dry. The detail of the buttons in the front elevate the style and it is very flaterring on any type of body (in my case it hides the extra tummy weight).
