For $22 over Black Friday, these shoes feel great. They improved in quality from the last pair and are at least a 1/2 step-up. I gave a 5 star rating since they simply feel even better on my feet. The insole of the new ones is removable and more cushioned even while fitting the same as previous pair, grip is excellent both indoors/outdoors functionality, and they are just plain comfortable. I always order shoes with a mild sense of trepidation as I have a rather oddball size of foot - 10 1/2 Wide. Quite often the shoes don't come in wide except in smaller sizes. Im often pushed to order an 11. I have blown out the sides of several pairs of 11s that initially felt ok. These came in the correct size and fit like I hoped they would. And they were 1/3rd the price of Merrils, which I've bought a lot of. I can't speak to durability but I will re-do this if something happens that seems pertinent. Read more

Very comfortable and seem to be well-made. As I get older my poor old feet seem to be hard to please when it comes to comfortable shoes. These are comfortable, light weight, and good-looking. I haven't had them long enough to need to be laundered and I'll edit this review if they don't hold up well. EDIT: So far these shoes have held up well. They went through the wash the other day and came through very, very nicely; they look like new. They're still very comfortable. One tiny concern: it seems like the tread on the soles is wearing out quickly but it's not enough of a concern to change my overall rating. Perhaps the manufacturer should use a slightly harder blend of materials when molding the soles? Read more

The soles are so soft that the tread wore away under my heel and the ball of my foot within just a few weeks. Shoe hydroplanes easily now whenever its wet. Otherwise the shoe is comfortable. [EDIT] I've now owned these shoes for 4 months and have decided to replace them. They're of such inferior quality that they're simply not comfortable to walk or stand in for long periods. Insole cushion compresses and loses cushion quickly. Compounded by the poor quality of the sole, they're not worth owning. Read more
