I'm over 60 and I have some adult coloring books that I usually color with colored pencils. I decided to try these markers and it really makes the colored pictures so much more saturated with color. I like the results. I also like the way the ink flows as I don't have to press hard and the markers glide and color. They did bleed behind for me, but they really didn't bleed outside of where I placed them. Having the two sizes of tips is also nice to be able to color smaller or larger sections depending on what's needed. They do dry quickly, but as I mentioned, they bleed into the paper behind. So I had to use some heavy cardstock and pull my coloring sheet out of the book and place it on the heavy cardstock. The ink bled onto the cardstock but no further. You can see in my second picture that is the backside of my coloring book page. I'm not taking off any points because I would expect alcohol markers to bleed, just be aware and use a cardstock of some kind to protect behind what you are marking. I was surprised how little smell these markers give off. I was expecting the bad smell of markers that I'm used to, but these were nice in that they are almost unscented. The colors are amazing and intense, and some of the colors are really bright like the Lemon Yellow and Fluorescent Coral Red. I was impressed with the selection of colors in this marker set, and also the price. For $6.99 to get 24 interesting colors and a carrying case is a great value. They also have a set that has 80 colors and one with 168 colors that I'm going to consider in the future. This would make a fun gift for an older person if they like to do adult coloring books, just make sure to include some cardstock and warn them about the bleeding behind the page. Read more

The colors are super bright and pretty true to color, but they break really easy and dries out faster than I would like. They definitely bleed on thin paper. Overall about what I expected for the price. Read more
I was genuinely impressed with this set of alcohol ink markers. The first thing I noticed was the zippered carrying case with a strap — such a practical detail. It keeps everything organized and makes it easy to store or bring along to school, appointments, or anywhere you want to sketch or color. That alone makes the set feel thoughtful and convenient. The color variety is great. I tested every marker to see how the ink compared to the cap color and how it actually performed on paper. The ink goes down very smoothly and evenly, and the colors are bright and vibrant. They make coloring and sketching feel effortless, and the blending ability is surprisingly good for a budget-friendly alcohol marker set. Each marker has dual tips — a broad chisel tip for filling larger areas and a fine tip for outlines and smaller details. I love that versatility. It makes the set feel much more functional whether you’re doing simple coloring, more detailed drawings, or quick sketches. One thing to note is that the ink absolutely bleeds through regular paper. When I tested it on a standard notepad, it bled through multiple sheets underneath. That’s typical for alcohol markers and not a deal breaker for me — I just place cardstock or scrap paper underneath whatever I’m working on — but it’s important to be aware of. The only minor frustration was that some cap colors don’t perfectly match the ink. When I first opened the set, I thought it didn’t include a true red because several caps looked pinkish. It turns out there is a red — it just isn’t accurately represented by the cap. Some caps match well, others don’t, so swatching them at the beginning definitely helps. Overall, this is a really fun, easy-to-use set. The markers feel smooth, the colors are vibrant, and they blend nicely. For beginners, kids, or anyone looking for an affordable alcohol marker set that performs better than expected, this is a great value. Read more

The ZYYEO Alcohol Marker Pens are an excellent set for both beginners and experienced artists. The dual tips mean that there is a fine tip for detailed work and a chisel for broader strokes. That makes these markers extremely versatile for sketching, coloring, calligraphy, animation, and illustration. The 24 vibrant colors are well-pigmented and produce smooth, consistent coverage without streaking, allowing for clean and precise artwork. I also appreciate the thoughtful design and comfortable grip, which makes long drawing sessions easy on the hands. While they’re non-blending, they’re perfect for bold, crisp designs and layering, which is great for beginners who want predictable results that will dry quickly with no bleed-through. Overall, this set is a high-quality, reliable, and fun tool for unleashing creativity, making it a fantastic value for anyone passionate about art. Read more
