Poly Pants
I have bought the all cotton (except for 3% spandex) Alfred Dunner pants before and like them a lot, but these are not the same. They have a lot of polyester in them. As soon as I saw that, I returned them. The description should be changed. I hope Alfred Dunner has not stopped making the all cotton denim pants, but from what I am seeing in the department stores now, they have. Maybe it was because the all cotton ones would shrink a couple of inches in the wash. Once I found that out, though, I started buying the Medium length to allow for shrinkage. Since I am short, it was no problem. I just really prefer the feel of the all cotton pants, but these look about the same and should be OK if you don't mind polyester pants. If you are unfamiliar with the fit, they are quite roomy in the seat and thigh area. I need to buy Alfred Dunner pants 1 or 2 sizes smaller than my size in other brands of pants. P.S. The seller has now changed the description to note the 32% polyester content. That probably means these pants won't shrink, but I miss the all cotton! Read more
