Customers say
Customers find these furniture glides work well on both carpet and hard floors, and are easy to hammer into chair legs. Customers disagree on scratch resistance, with some reporting scratches on their floors.

I've replaced white nylon sliders on several sets of kitchen chairs and 4 bar stools, all on ceramic tiles. The old ones were OEM white nylon that wore down over several years but they slide on the tiles fairly easily. These replacement installed really nicely because the nail is slightly larger in diameter than the original ones which meant they took a slight amount of hammering to seat, but are firmly in place. The notable difference is these "sliders" don't - slide that is. They require the chair or bar stool to be dragged along the floor, at least well more so that with the old nylon factory gliders. That is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on your needs, so be aware. Less gliding means a chair is less likely to slip out from under some one when they stand up - a good thing perhaps, but we drag a couple of bar stools every night from our bar area to a kitchen counter where we can watch TV while we eat and it take noticeably more effort to drag those stool across the floor - not a great thing, but also not a big deal for me. I used to be able to sort of swing a stool around and with it "gliding" over to the counter area, but now there is none of that. I have to drag each stool every inch of the way. I will probably replace these with slicker nylon feet sometime in the future, but that's only because I prefer a more slippery glider. These are probably a safer option for many people, and in any case, they seem well made and installed perfectly so I'm giving them a 5-start review. Read more
Purchased these for my church, to keep our wooden chairs from ruining the new flooring in our fellowship hall. About 1/4 of the ‘nails’ bent when attaching to the chair legs. But that really could have been the exuberance of the ‘installers’ (we had youth helping). So far the sliders have done the job. Easy to install, our chairs were previously drilled for metal sliders. It was just what I needed. Did the job real fine. Read more
In our case, we have stools that sit partially on a ceramic floor and partially on a wood floor… The ceramic floor is a quarter of an inch higher than the wood floor so the stools sat there slightly (but very visibly!) slanted a little bit. The ability to add an extra ‘black washer piece’ from one unit to another, was just what we needed to get the atools to sit there evenly. Perfect! Smooth! Good quality. Good design. Read more
Don’t hit them too hard - will bend/break. But working well on my couch, love seat and ottoman. Gliding furniture nicely on carpet and hardwood. They scratch easily, so I added pads to the ottoman pads. Read more
