These are great straws! The very best part is they come with a long, skinny bottle type brush for cleaning the straws. This can be used for ANY straw, so I gave all our reusable straws a good cleaning. LOVE this brush and these straws, which are very durable and come in fun colors. you DO NOT run the Drying cycle. Being single, 10 straws are really too many. And, because I'm unofficially retired (18 months to go, before I can collect Social Security), I try to save money where ever I can. And, one way, is on the electric bill by not running the Drying cycle on the Dishwasher. So, as an experiment, I took 5 of the straws, and tied them together with a piece of string (don't want them falling through the flatware holder), and ran the dishwasher as I normally do. And, the straws came out fine. Now, I really like these straws, as there's enough of them to rotate through without worrying about running out of 'em before the next wash day. This straws are really good, I was looking for straws to replace a few old ones that came with my Starbucks tumblers 24oz, this are pretty and nice they look durable and strong, the only thing that I can say tho, is that they are small in comperaison of the original straws of my tumbler for like 2 cm, and you can feel the difference. I ordered these straws because the name brand ones we buy at the coffee shop always melt in the dishwasher (or bend to an unusual shape). We usually pay $5-$6 for 3 straws but I received 12 with a nice cleaning brush for $7.99!!!! I wasn't sure what to expect but these are high quality, durable straws that are tall enough to fit in any cup. I'm sure when my son melts more in the dishwasher I would definitely buy these again!!! I really love these straws! These were meant to replace the broken straws from plastic lidded cups. The typical straws that come with thise types of cups are usually hard break easily. I have two little girls that like to chew on their straws, which makes the harder straws break. These straws are a little softer and way more forgiving when it comes to straw chewing, which makes them much more long lasting! I also love the brush! Makes for much easier cleaning!
