I bought this on a whim to wear for my husband because he digs the burlesque/1950s lingerie look. The look on his face was priceless. I felt like a million bucks. Lol. He looked at me like I wasn’t his wife of 15 years but a pinup model! That being said, this does run incredibly small. Read the reviews regarding size! I am about 5’1” 115 lbs. I wear a size small/medium T-shirt, 6-7 size pants (my waist measurement was a 29.5) and a 34 B bra size. I ordered the XL which felt ridiculous but it FIT EXACTLY. I’m not super busty so the top didn’t push the girls up as much as I would have liked but he didn’t seem to care. It seems like a well made piece of clothing for the price. I like that it’s a ‘faux’ corset so you don’t have to lace it up, just zip and go. I give it 4 stars because the fit runs so small it may be difficult for larger women to get the size they need. Fits great if you're well endowed, great quality, and doesn't look or feel cheap, is definitely customizable or perfect if worn as is. I ordered my size and it fit like a glove and the cups weren't big on me like other reviews said (but I'm very well endowed so if you aren't I can see it being a bit big in the bust). I love that there's a side zipper so that you don't have to bother with the ribbons (unless you need to tighten or loosen it) and I love the straps that you tie behind your neck for a bit of added support. It looks great on me and after I doctored it up and added some colored ribbon and rhinestones, it's absolutely gorgeous!!! I highly recommend this to anyone who's on the fence, anyone looking for a fashion corset and doesn't care that much about how tight it gets, (although it can get pretty tight, just not as tight as an actual steel boned corset) and/or anyone who wants a cute, nice quality corset top that won't break the bank! I'm heartbroken because this top is absolutely gorgeous, except the cups stick out SO far from the torso. I'm a DD cup size and even with the small size top at the tightest setting, it still left a huge gap between my boobs and the bra, so my areolas could be seen. I tried sizing up all the way to large, to see if it would offer more coverage, but the gap can't be fixed, so it's a problem with the design. If these were sold at $10, then maybe it would be worth it in the hopes of paying a tailor to fix it but, because of the bones around the corset, I'm not sure that's it's even possible. Otherwise, if they fix this issue and market it as fixed/updated, then I will buy it again because it's truly beautiful. Read more
