The Medium Blue, Open Front Blazer is NOT a $250 blazer, but it didn't cost $250. I was skeptical whether it would look and fit nicely but I was pleasantly surprised. I will get a lot of wear out of this washable blazer and, despite being lower priced, it will definitely elevate a sun dress or pants and top from daytime wear to out-to-dinner or office wear. PROS: It is just as pictured in terms of style details. It appears to be well constructed (time will tell). The fit is absolutely perfect! I am 5'3" and 155# and have relatively broad shoulders for my height. The Medium fits great, including the sleeve length and shoulders. I live in Florida and wanted a blazer I could wear with sleeveless dresses and tops that was washable. This fits the bill. I haven't washed it yet, but will update my review once I do. Great buy. CONS: The online color looked more aqua and less teal. The actual blazer's color is just slightly darker than the picture. The fabric of two other blazers I purchased from Allegra K at the same time are much better. This blazer's fabric is a little more "polyestery" looking and feeling. Not terrible, but not quite as good. The sleeves are not lined (the front and back are lined). While this certainly lowers quality (sleeves have a visible hem and their shape is not as well-defined as it would be with lining), that is actually not so much of a con for me. I live in Florida and the unlined sleeves will be cooler to wear in our steamy hot weather. BOTTOM LINE: I will get a lot of wear out of this blazer and will definitely try other items from Allegra K now that I know their fit and quality are commensurate with their pricing. This is a surprisingly nice quality blazer, but I sadly had to return it since it was too big under the arms (armpit opening too far down). I am 5'2" and about 115 pounds. Would have also liked to be able to button it for a more fitted look, but that wouldn't have been a dealbreaker if it fit correctly. Read more
