I really liked this dress. It would be ok to wear to work or to an event. I, unfortunately, sent it back only because I bought several dresses for a wedding & this was not a good fit for a black tie wedding & I didn’t have a use for it. But great for the office (depending where you work) or maybe child’s conformation party…along those lines. Read more

I wanted a dress to have on hand for funerals and other dress occasions, and I think this will work. The material is substantial, not sheer. With 3/4 sleeves, it is appropriate for all seasons of the year. The dress was ready to wear, right out of the bag, with no significant wrinkling. A couple of things to be aware of: The belt is so long, the end reaches all the way around to my spine when it is buckled. I used a clear hair band to keep the belt from sticking out, but will probably look for a different plain black patent belt and switch it out. (Considered cutting off several inches of the belt, but I'm concernced the end would peel and fray, as it is fairly cheaply made.) The other thing to consider is the pleated flairs at the bottom of the dress. Details like these are hard to see in photographs online, so you might look carefully at the dress in a different color just to see what the pleats look like. They seem to work fine for this style, but they make the dress a little different than a classic sheath. Overall, I'm pleased with the dress and think it's a good buy. Read more
Absolute No! Horrible fit on me! It has built in love handles that puff out on the sides under the belt before the hips. It’s like they put extra material that balloons out. Even before I lost weight and still had love handles it still would be way too much extra material there. I am built like the model now and the dress does not look like that. I bought the green one. Seems like different colors might actually be made differently. There is no way I could wear it in public. Read more

I ordered this dress in two sizes and both fit very poorly. They both came crumpled in a plastic bag (and yes they were very wrinkled) and one did not even have the belt. I could feel the seam on the back of my legs where the pleats start and it actually made the butt part poof out, even though the dress was not tight at all. The sides by the hips again were too poofy. I returned both dresses. Read more
