Beautiful wine colored plaid skirt. Has a hidden zipper in the side seam and elastic in the back. The front has a nice design and two side pockets. The back is gathered along the elastic and the front has two pleats. It's fully lined with a wine colored underskirt. It feels heavy and thick like wool but the tag says all material is polyester. It must be a high quality polyester since it says don't dry in the dryer, or at least on high heat. I haven't washed it yet. It's not terribly scratchy but does have the feel of wool, the thickness and weave. I'm glad of the lining so I don't have to wear a slip in case it is sort of scratchy. I really like this vintage plaid skirt. I am 5'5, 140 pounds and I ordered a medium. It fits exactly as it should. It sits on my waist and hits like an inch or 2 below my knees. The material is thick and from a distance you would think it was real wool. It has a side zipper but has an elastic band in the back for a better fit. Plus it has pockets! What else could I need? The color is described as dark pink but in person it definitely has more of a brown and orange tone. Because the color is off I wish I would have ordered the other one. But this will still be cute for fall and I can't wait to wear it! Read more
