This is a high-quality dress for the money. It looked great right out of the package - no wrinkles at all. The fabric is thick & good quality. I felt very comfortable in this dress. The only problem, which I've noticed with most dresses these days, is that the waist is very short. I'm only 5'3" & the waist came about 4" above my natural waistline. I solved the problem by ordering a pleated faux leather cummerbund from Amazon that camouflaged the high waist. Read more

Love the color (blue-green teal) and overall fit! I ordered size XL. Glad I did because I needed it for my broad shoulders and bust, however, if I wanted true bodycon I'd have to take it in a little near the waist for a true (curvy) shape. Since I'm only 5'1", this dress is well below the knees but it happens to hit me at a sweet spot. At 155 pounds, this dress is comfortable, has enough give and I can tell you that it does not cling around the belly, it glides past and manages to look slimming (so no, I'm not going bodycon:). The dress arrived slightly wrinkled, after three days on the hanger, the wrinkles had not disappeared. So I steamed the dress. Had to repeat that process twice but then it stayed wrinkle-free even after wearing. My only con would be that the fabric is not silky smooth to the touch (but not scratchy either), it has substance, a comfortable fit, and is not see-through. The cut makes it look huge on the hanger, but when I tried it on it fit surprisingly well and seems to fit true to size. The fabric is also very comfortable. Read more

Well made, flattering, weight and texture of fabric is just right. Neckline is just different enough to be interesting. Pleasantly surprised that the little accent pin was included! Skirt length falls just to the knee. Overall, looks elegant for a reasonably priced dress! Read more

This dress is fitted and sleek. In my opinion it definitely needs a spanx under it. I gave it 4 stars because I think the fabric is rather thin. Without a spanx I think that thinness is obvious. Having said that, the dress is comfortable, wearable and could be worn to most any dressy function. I think it really slims the body. And that is always a plus! I wasn't a real fan of the little brooch, but it does add some interest to the dress. I would just rather add my own interest with some nice jewelry. The cuffs on the sleeves of the dress add extra interest with the covered buttons. I'm quite happy to have added this dress to my closet. While it might not get regular wear, I will be very glad it's there when that dressy occasion occurs! Read more
