My daughter needed a dresser coat to wear with dresses for church or dances so we ordered this. It is a thicker material a softer wool like vibe and has a silky liner. The best review- when I put it on, my husband had a big smile and said how nice it looked on me! I was planning to wear it the evening of our wedding, but unfortunately I had to return it because the sleeves on the medium were a bit short for me and it was not quite warm enough for the temperatures we were having (30s F). I'm 5'5", and upper 150s. Loved finding a belted coat because most of the coats make me look like the kid from Christmas story; this one makes me look like I have a waist. Beautiful color....it looked like it was going to be exactly what I was looking for, but the fit was off. It was small in the shoulders and bigger in the waist. I ordered a small (5'8" 125lbs) but a size down would have been worse in the shoulders and a size up worse in the waist. I don't have giant shoulders either. The buttons were a little low budget too.
