Quite Amazing Quality and Fit - Especially for the Price!
The Plaid Tweed Blazer in Light Blue is NOT a $250 blazer, but it didn't cost $250. I was skeptical whether it would look and fit nicely but I was amazed. Of the 3 Allegra K blazers I bought at the same time, this one is by far the highest quality and best value! I will get a lot of wear out of this washable blazer and it will definitely elevate any outfit from daytime wear to out-to-dinner or office wear. PROS: It is just as pictured in terms of color and style details. The fabric looks and feels nice. It appears to be well constructed (time will tell). The entire blazer is lined. The pearl buttons give it a dressy look. I bought a Medium and the fit is very good, but just a touch narrow through the shoulders. I have relatively broad shoulders for my height and am 5'3" and 155#. I live in Florida and wanted a blazer I could wear when the weather (finally!) cools down, that was washable. This fits the bill. I haven't washed it yet, but will update my review once I do. This one was a fantastic buy. CONS: It is slightly more boxy looking than it looks in the photo, but not baggy or ill-fitting. I still love the look. As mentioned above, it is just a touch tight through the shoulders, but still very wearable. For some, the very subtle silvery threads that are part of the plaid pattern may be a con. I know some people don't like much shine or sparkle. I do, and I think it adds to the appeal! BOTTOM LINE: I LOVE this blazer and I will definitely try other items from Allegra K now that I know their fit and quality are commensurate with their pricing.
