Used these to hand outdoor curtains on our patio. The instructions were not entire clear and they do take some figuring out unless you get lucky and the standard lengths get you close to where you need to be). there is not much forgiveness in the tensioner so it is necessary to "mix and match" lengths of tubing to get very close to the desired length before installing. Mine were set to about 78 inches so nowhere near the full possible length and, even with no weight in the middle, the rod is still bowed a bit in the center. The day we hung these and placed heavy outdoor curtains on it. we got a serious rain storm and the strength of the installation was definitely tested! They stay in place just fine. These are recommended but, again, better instructions would be helpful. Read more
We used the rod to span a 96" opening, and the two piece design for that width worked great, as it provided a firm base across the entire width. We had tried another brand's multi piece unit and it flexed too much (sagged). The design also allowed for simple adjustment and provides good pressure to hold the unit in place. Read more
Perfect rod! It's very sturdy and has 2 extention rods to adjust to the length you need. I have 4 heavy panels on it and it is holding great! I highly recommend it. Read more

This tension rod worked great for holding up my Christmas garland. No slipping or sagging. It feels very sturdy. I was worried that it would be too long to install by myself, but it was so easy to adjust that I didn’t have any trouble at all. Would recommend! Read more
