I’ll start with full transparency: this shade (600) is a little darker than my natural skin tone. I knew that going in, and instead of fighting it, I leaned in and decided to use it as a contour. Turns out… it was a very good decision. Let’s talk about the applicator first because it deserves its own moment. The wedge-shaped, triangle wand is genuinely unique. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a concealer applicator shaped quite like this, and once you use it, it makes so much sense. The flat edge hugs under-eye contours beautifully, and the pointed tip gives precise placement along cheekbones, nose, or anywhere you want definition. It makes application fast and controlled, which I appreciate on busy mornings. The formula itself is lightweight but very pigmented. I don’t need much at all to get strong color payoff, and that’s whether I’m placing it under the eyes or sculpting. A few gentle pats with a damp beauty blender and it blends out seamlessly with a soft, natural-matte finish. No dragging, no patchiness, no cakey buildup. Longevity is where this really surprised me. I wore this through a full 10-hour workday and then took it straight to the gym for another two hours. Sweat happened. Life happened. This concealer did not budge. It looked just as smooth and intact when I got home as it did when I applied it. It wasn’t until I intentionally removed it with a makeup wipe that it finally gave up, and even then it came off easily with a mild cleanser afterward. As for the skincare claims, I want to be realistic. I don’t deal with active breakouts, but I do have redness from maturing skin, visible pores, and fine lines that are no longer shy. I’ve only been using this for about a week, so I can’t personally speak to the full 14-day clearing claims yet. That said, I love the idea behind it. Having 2% salicylic acid, prebiotics, and aloe vera in a concealer feels like multitasking in the best way. Even if I’m not seeing long-term changes yet, I like knowing my makeup isn’t working against my skin. Comfort-wise, it wears beautifully. No tightness, no dryness, no irritation, which is great if you have skin that leans sensitive. It sits well over skincare and doesn’t emphasize texture or fine lines, which is often where fuller-coverage concealers fail. Price-wise, at around $12, this sits perfectly in that mid-level drugstore range. And honestly? It performs just as well as some of my high-end concealers that cost double or more. If you told me this was a $30 product, I wouldn’t question it. Even though I didn’t use it in the traditional “concealer” way due to the shade, it absolutely delivered on coverage, blendability, wear time, and comfort. I've used this more as a lightweight under eye concealer than for any acne breakout, and like it more than I thought. My under eye area is oily and this keeps the area under control and the product stays on throughout the day. I got a lighter tone than my usual skin tone, but the circles under my eyes are dark so the effect equaled out. It's not too thin or too thick, so it's easy to apply sparingly. This concealer is quite pigmented and provides solid coverage without needing much product. The applicator is a wand with a pointy or wedge-shaped tip that I really like. It makes precise application easy and helps you use just enough product. Even though the shade didn’t look like a perfect match at first, it blended well with my skin tone and concealed pimples and minor flaws with a very natural finish. The longevity is quite good and it stayed on throughout the day, though it did settle slightly into fine lines, even though I don’t have particularly oily skin. It’s comfortable to wear and, unlike many blemish-focused products, it wasn’t irritating or overly drying. I didn’t notice any increase in breakouts while using it, but I also didn’t see a dramatic improvement, which is fine for my purposes. I mainly wanted something to cover the occasional blemish, not treat severe acne, and it works well for that. The finish is natural, not too matte or too shimmery or glowy, so you can spot-conceal without needing a full face of foundation on top, as long as you blend well. The formula feels relatively lightweight, which I prefer over thicker or oilier concealers. For a 'drugstore brand' product at this price point, it performs really well and feels like a good value. One downside is that because it contains salicylic acid, it’s not ideal for use under the eyes, or at least not for me, as I have sensitive skin there. Since that’s often the main area I need concealer, having to use a separate product for undereye is a bit inconvenient. I don’t tend to break out very often, so hadn’t had a chance to really test this product until recently. All I can say is wow, I’m kind of amazed. I usually only use concealers as highlighters, but also use them when I do have a blemish to try and cover. I didn’t necessarily want to use this particular product as a highlighter under my eyes but I did get a chance to use it for a blemish the other day. While I could say all kinds of good things about the applicator and the formula, what truly amazed me was that this product truly does what it claims, clears breakouts. I so wish I had taken a before and after picture, but I was in a rush to leave the house when I applied the product and simply thought, “oh I’ll take a picture tomorrow.” But I kid you not, my breakout spot was gone the next day. I was completely blown away by that fact. So not only did this concealer do a great job of covering and hiding my blemish, it also actually cleared it! I’m eager to see how it continues to perform in that regard going forward. Super impressed with this product and if it continues to perform as such, I will definitely be a repeat customer. Read more
