One great thing about this AlmondJoy Mini Backpack is that it looks very much like the product photos. The features, closures and clasps, dimensions relative to an adult human carrying it -- there are very few surprises. I appreciate that even the cute decorative pins and miniature bear are included. On the whole, it is adorable. I have a couple of mini backpacks and I like how they can carry a surprising amount without looking overstuffed. I wish that the materials were a step up in quality, though. The fabric of the backpack looks and feels so painfully low-grade, like the lining of cheap polyester upholstery. All the plastic hardware makes hollow clicking and clacking noises. The pins are flimsy. On the upside, this kind of polyester is less likely to stain. Oil-based products tend to repel organic matter. I am just going to use this for as long as I can, which I don't think will be very long before a clasp snaps or the fabric snags on something and runs. I give this a 3.5 /5 rating. Read more
