I don't write many reviews but I had to comment on these socks. Being part of a reserve unit and participating in ground search and rescue you need to take care of your feet. These socks are the best I have found to avoid blisters, and regulate heat, cold, and moisture. They are well made, fit comfortably, and last! I highly recommend them. Read more

These socks are the best socks I have ever bought. I live in Vegas and wore them during the 100+ degree weather and my feet didn’t feel hot. Now that the weather is cooler my feet don’t feel cold wearing them. They are soft and fit just right. I love the thickness of the socks as well. Overall while they are on the expensive side, I would say they are worth getting. They are my everyday sock now. You can wear them multiple days in a row and there is no bad odor to them. Read more

For reference, I am an avid outdoorsman and my feet always get cold so I have used a lot of various socks and boots. I have been a big fan of Darn Tough Socks. I got these because I heard they were warmer than merino wool. I hunted 2 days with the same 600 gram thinsulate. The day I had my darn tough socks on it was mid 20s. My feet got cold but it was bare able. The next day was mid 30s with the Hollow socks. My feet were colder in warmer temps. Both times my feet were dry. Alpaca wool is not what I hoped for. Read more
