ALPAKA Bravo Sling Max 8L RFID-Blocking Sling Laptop Bag for Men with Maglockz Buckle Lockable Zips External USB

I have been looking for a smaller bag to use when going to and from work. I was looking for a bag that can hold all the things I carry on a daily basis: Kindle, Airpods, MTA pass, gloves, small flashlight, maybe an energy bar or drink, a beanie when it's cold. The bag also had to have a few zippered pockets to hold my wallet, keys and other small valuables. Those were the parameters of my search. This Bravo XL sling bag from Alpaka ticked all those boxes, while also looking extremely nice. The color I got is a dark green with black accents and it has a very useful orange interior (if you've ever struggled to find something inside a dark colored purse, you know what I am talking about. The bag has quality zippers and hardware and came with a complimentary key chain, which is a nice touch. The material is waterproof and has a nice smooth hand feel. The only demerit I could give it is that it has no pockets on the outside (which is where I traditionally like to store my MTA pass for easy access while commuting). I fixed this by buying the Alpaka ID card holder, a couple of their Fidlok clips and carabiners, a small clip-on pocket and lanyard. With those products I made a pocket attached to the front side of the bag in which to keep my MTA card (which is secured to the strap with the lanyard). As far as cost goes, the price is just about what you'd expect to pay for a bag with all these features and such quality workmanship. Also, I am glad it was available from Amazon, because I have read that Alpaka's shipping is very slow (I will find out if this is accurate, because I purchased a longer shoulder strap from Alpaka--not available on Amazon--directly.) and I was happy to get the bag and accessories within a few days. In conclusion, if you, like me, are looking for a smaller, yet still roomy, bag with a number of pockets (several zippered), this Alpaka Bravo XL sling is one you should seriously consider. This thing is great. It's big enough for my camera and iPad at the same time, which is something the peak design bag couldn't handle. The color scheme on this green and orange 10L sling suits anything I wear. I bought this on sale however I would buy at full price. The interior is soft enough not to worry about electronics inside. The materials are of good quality so far. The zippers allow you to put a small lock on them making it a bit harder to get into. The sling padding is comfortable on the shoulder. This bag also allows me to put a 10,000mAh battery to charge devices with. You can find just about any size to put in here. Current load out: Samsung 16" Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra with Samsung keyboard, iPhone 15 Pro Max, 5 small notebooks, 1 medium leather bound journal, extra set of keys, TI-30XIIS calculator, pocket knife, Helix 10,000 mAh battery, pens and pencils, documents in a separate compartment, and a Koala screen cleaning cloth in the back hidden compartment. This has become my favorite EDC bag. It fits everything I need and then some! I absolutely love this sling! The quality is exceptional, and the material feels sturdy and reliable. It's perfect for everyday use or when traveling abroad. My MacBook Pro 14" fits in it just right. The sling is thoughtfully designed with multiple pockets that are incredibly practical. Even when you fill it up, the great strap design means you won't notice the weight. Bag is a nice quality bag that’ comes up short. Overall quality is top notch - strap is way too short. To emphasize this - ALPAKA sells another longer strap for the bag which is 12 inches longer. Seems like a money grab and that strap is only available direct from ALPAKA. If they made the original strap 4-6 inches longer it would be great and fit most folks. I’m 6’0, 225 pounds for sizing purposes. Also the bag opening needs to open a bit further to easily get your MacBook Air 13 inch in.
