Best gloves I've ever had
I absolutely love these gloves. They fit perfectly, and you can really tell the build quality both by feel and by sight. These have a mix of leather and synthetic material, the wrist straps really locks them in, and the armor and skid pad are great. As with any leather, they were a bit stiff until they were broken in, but there's a secret that works with these (and any leather). Let these gloves soak up some direct sunlight for an hour until they are nice and warm/hot, put them on, and then liberally apply leather oil (Obenauf's oil or LP is my go-to choice) like you are washing your hands. Really smear/soak it into all the cracks, seams, and stitching. Sit them back out in the sun for another hour, and then wipe off any excess. In just one (maybe two) treatments these gloves became soft, supple, and largely waterproof. Then all you need to do is go put some miles on them in the heat and rain. These gloves feel so good I forget I'm wearing them. I've bought (and then given away) several different brands and styles of gauntlet gloves, but these I'm going to be using as my primary glove for the foreseeable future. 11/10, completely recommend.
